Osmotic pressure in the leaf cells is pdsitive during excessive transpiration. Transpiration is a physical and physiological process in which aerial parts of a living plant remove water in the from of vapours.
As the water is lost from the leaf surface by transpiration, osmotic pressure of the leaf cells increses.
