1 + cot2 A = cosec2 A

Proof:

Again a2 + c2 = b2 ( by Pythagoras Theorem)  .......(i)

Dividng eq (i) by a2

LHS

= 1+cot^2A

=1+cos^2A/sin^2A

=(sin^2A+cos^2A)/sin^2A

=1/sin^2A

=cosec^2A

=RHS
