In buying a good a consumer compares price of the good with marginal utility (MU) of the good . He decides to purchase the good only when `MUge` Price . Suppose `PgtMU` , he will continue to buy so long as MU is either greater or at least equal to P. As the consumer busy more and more units MU diminishes . He busy upto the point when MU equals P. MU=P
