Electrostatic force: F = \(\frac{1}{4\pi \epsilon_0}\,\frac{q_1 q_2}{r^2}\)

Electric field: E : \(\frac{1}{4\pi \epsilon_0}\,\frac{q}{r^2}\)

The coulomb force (F) between two charges and electric field (E) due to a charge both follow the inverse square law.

(F ∝ 1/r2, E ∝ 1/r2)
