Two objects `O_(1)` and `O_(2)` are placed in front of a lens of focal length f. The objects are placed on the principal axis such that `O_(1)O_(2) = x` and `O_(2)` is closer to the lens. The distance of `O_(2)` from lens is greater than its focal length. If their images formed are `I_(1)` and `I_(2)` such that the distance between them is `I_(1)I_(2) = y`, then
A. If `f gt 0, y` must be greater than x
B. If `f lt 0, y` must be less than x
C. If `f gt 0, I_(2)` may be farther from lens than `I_(1)`
