Explain position isomerism in alkyne.

Alkynes show position isomerism which is a type of structural isomerism. 

e.g. But-1-yne and but-2-yne, both are represented by C4H6 , however, both of them differ in position of triple bond in them.

[Note: 1-Alkynes are also called terminal alkynes.]
