Correct option (c) thoraco-lumbar region

Explanation :

Sympathetic nerves in mammals arise from thoraco-lumbar region. Nerves of the sympathetic system originate within the spinal cord of the thoracic and lumbar segments, but beyond the vertebrae each departs from the cord and turns ventrally in a short, white ramus to enter a sympathetic ganglion.
