The correct option is (c) A is true but R is false.

Explanation:

Sb (III) is a basic radical of IIB group for which group reagent is H2S in presence of dilute HCI. 

It is necessary to maintain the proper hydrogen ion concentration for the precipitation of IInd group cations and to check the precipitation of IV group cations.
