Velocity

(i) At any time instant t, v (t) = A ω cos (ωt + ϕ)
(ii) At any position x, v (x) = ± ω√A2-x2
(iii) Velocity is minimum at extremes because the particles is at rest.
i.e., v = 0 at extreme position
(iv) Velocity has maximum magnitude at mean position.
|v|max = ωA at mean position.
