Correct Answer - Option 2 : 1 : 3 : 17

Calculation:

Given m = 3 + 2√2

⇒ 1/m = 3 - 2√2

⇒ m + 1/m = 6      ---- (1)

From equation (1)

⇒ m + 1/m - 2 = 6 - 2

⇒ (√m - 1/√m)2 = 4

⇒ √m - 1/√m = 2

Again, from equation (1)

⇒ m+ 1/m2 = 36 - 2 = 34

⇒ (√m - 1/√m) : (m + 1/m) : (m2 + 1/m2)

⇒ 2 : 6 : 34

1 : 3 : 17
