Correct Answer - Option 1 : Ratnavalli

The correct answer is Ratnavalli.

  • The Pushyabhuti dynasty also known as the Vardhana dynasty was a vaishya dynasty, ruled parts of northern India during the 6th and 7th centuries.
  • The dynasty reached its zenith under its last ruler Harsha-Vardhana, whose empire covered much of north and north-western India, and extended till Kamarupa in the east and Narmada River in the south.
  • The dynasty initially ruled from Sthanvishvara (modern ThanesarHaryana), but Harsha eventually made modern KannaujUttar Pradesh his capital, from where he ruled until 647 CE.
  • Harsha is widely believed to be the author of three Sanskrit plays RatnavaliNagananda, and Priyadarsika.

  • Nagananda is a Sanskrit play attributed to emperor Harsha. Nagananda is among the most acclaimed Sanskrit dramas.
  • Lilavati is Indian mathematician Bhaskara II's treatise on mathematics, written in 1150. It is the first volume of his main work, the Siddhanta Shiromani, alongside the Bijaganita, the Grahaganita, and the Goladhyaya.
  • The Kritya-kalpataru of Lakshmidhara is a comprehensive compendium from earlier Dharmasastras.
