Correct Answer - Option 1 : 60 km/hr

Calculation:

Suppose the speed of car is x km/hr and speed of the bike is y km/hr.

According to question –

⇒ (x – y) × 8 = 160

⇒ (x – y) = 20      …… (i)

Again, (x + y)× 8/5 = 160

⇒ (x + y)/5 = 20

⇒ (x + y) = 100      ….. (ii)

Add both equations, we have –

⇒ 2x = 120

⇒ x = 120/2

⇒ x = 60 km/hr

∴ The speed of the car is 60km/hr.
