Correct Answer - Option 3 : 32

Calculation:

Let the average height of the 20 toddlers be x inches.

When the 2 toddlers are included, the average of the group comes down by 2,

⇒ Average becomes x – 2.

As, average height of the 2 toddlers is one-third of the  average height of the 22 toddlers,

Average height of 2 toddler = (x - 2)/3

Calculating average of all 22 toddler and equating to x - 2

⇒ (20(x) + 2(x - 2)/3)/22 = x - 2

Upon solving, x = 32 inches.
