Correct Answer - Option 3 : Both room sensible heat and latent heat-loads

Explanation:

Air conditioning:

Air conditioning is that branch of engineering science which deals with the study of air conditioning of air i.e. supplying and maintaining desirable internal atmospheric conditions for human comfort, irrespective of external conditions.

In the simple system, there is no outside air and the same air is recirculated.

Cold and dry air is supplied to the room and the air that leaves the conditioned space is assumed to be at the same conditions as that of conditioned space.

The supply air should be such that as it flows through the conditioned space it can counteract the sensible and latent heat transfers taking place from the outside to the conditioned space, so that the space can be maintained at required low temperature and humidity.
