Correct Answer - Option 1 : Infinite

Axial Ratio:

It is defined as the ratio of maximum to the minimum electric field.

Axial Ratio = \( = 20\log \frac{{{E_{max}}}}{{{E_{min}}}}\)

In the case of linear polarization, EM wave passes through the origin

so Emin = 0

Axial Ratio \( = 20\log \frac{{{E_{max}}}}{{{E_{min}}}} = \infty \)
