Correct Answer - Option 1 : three times

Concept:

The maximum core flux density in a transformer is directly proportional to the V/f ratio.

Where V is the supply voltage and

f is the supply frequency

Calculation:

Given that, the applied voltage of a certain transformer is increased by 50% while the frequency is reduced by 50%.

V2 = 1.5 V1 and f2 = 0.5f1

Therefore, the V/f ratio will becomes three times and hence the maximum flux density will also become three times.
