Correct Answer - Option 4 : 1,600 lakh ml

Given:

1 bottle quantity = 100 ml

96 lakh peoples, who use sanitizer and mask both

Production ratio sanitizer to mask, before covid-19 is = 8 : 6

After covid-19 sanitizer production increases by 500%

And mask production increases by 700%

Calculations:

After covid-19 sanitizer production increases by 500%

That means the production of sanitizer is 6 times of before

And mask production increases by 700%

That means the production of mask is 8 times of before

At present ratio of sanitizer bottle to mask = (8 × 6) : (6 × 8)

⇒ 1 : 1

According to question, 1 person takes (1 bottle sanitizer + 1 mask)

⇒ Total sanitizer bottle production at present = total number of people

⇒ 96 lakh bottle

⇒ Before covid-19, total sanitizer bottle production = (96/6) lakh bottle

⇒ 16 lakh bottle

⇒ Before covid-19 total sanitizer production in ml = (16 × 100) lakh ml

⇒ 1,600 lakh ml

∴ before covid-19 total sanitizer production is 1,600 lakh ml
