Correct Answer - Option 3 : 10-3 kHz

Concept:

  • Frequency is the rate at which current changes direction per second.
  • It is measured in hertz (Hz), an international unit of measure where 1 hertz is equal to 1 cycle per second

Calculation:

Time period = 1000 ms

Frequency = \(\frac{1}{Time \; period}\)

Frequency = \(\frac{1}{1000\;ms}\)

Frequency = \(\frac{1}{1000\;\times 10^{-3}\;s}\)

Frequency = \({10^{-3}\;\times 10^{3}\;s^{-1}}\)

Frequency = 10-3 kilohertz
