Correct Answer - Option 2 : Speed of both are same.

CONCEPT:

Electromagnetic spectrum: It is a collection of a range of different waves in sequential order from radio to gamma electromagnetic waves.

Frequency (ν) = speed of light (c)/wavelength (λ)

  • The speed of all EM waves is the same.
  • Visible Light: A portion in the spectrum of electromagnetic waves that is visible to the human eye, ranging roughly between 390 to 750 nm.
  • X–rays are electromagnetic waves not mechanical wave because they are diffracted by the crystal.
