Correct Answer - Option 1 : 14 : 9

Concept:

Perimeter = Sum of all sides

Calculation:

Given that,

Perimeter = 32 cm

Sum of equal sides = 18 cm

Let x is non equal side and a is one of the equal side.

∵ Perimeter = Sum of all side

⇒ x + 2a = 32   ----(1)

⇒ x + 18 = 32   (∵ 2a = 18)

⇒ x = 14 cm.

Hence, from the equation (1)

⇒ 14 + 2a = 32

⇒ a = 9 cm

Hence, required ratio = 14 : 9
