Correct Answer - Option 3 : 1/3

Calculation:

Let the denominator of the required fraction = a

So, the numerator will be = a - 2

According to the question:

(a - 2) × 2/a × 3 = 2/9

⇒ (a - 2)/a = 1/3

⇒ 3a - 6 = a

⇒ 2a = 6

⇒ a (denominator) = 3

⇒ Numerator = 3 - 2 = 1

∴ The required fraction is 1/3.
