Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 3 : Rs. 15000

Given:

Monthly Salary = Rs. 45000

Calculation:

Amount spent on education = Rs.45000 × 1/3 = Rs. 15000

Amouont spent on food and other necessities = Rs.45000 × 2/6 = Rs. 15000

Amount kept for savings = Rs. 45000 - Rs. 15000 - Rs.15000 = Rs. 15000

∴ The required amount of savings = Rs. 15000
