Concept used:

The sum of roots of quadratic equation = -b/a

The product of roots = c/a

Calculation:

P(x) = ax² + bx + c

According to the question

Sum of roots = -3

⇒ -b/a = -3 

Product of roots = 2

⇒ c/a = 2

⇒ a = 1, b = 3 and c = 2

The quadratic polynomial wiil be 

P(x) = x2 + 3x + 2
