Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : 4 kg 100 gram

Given:

Maximum capacity of the carry bag = 12 kg 500 gram

Mohan has to buy 8 kg 400 gram of flour

Concept used:

1 kg = 1000 gram

Calculation:

The maximum weight that can be kept inside the carry bag without damage = Maximum weight - Weight of flour

⇒ 12 kg 500 gram - 8 kg 400 gram = 4 kg 100 gram

∴ The maximum weight of rice he can purchase is 4 kg 100 gram
