In each question given below a statement is followed by three courses of action numbered I, II and III. A course of action is a step or administrative decision to be taken for improvement, follow-up for further action in regard to the problems, policy etc. On the assumption that everything in the statement to be true, you have to decide which of the three given courses of action logically follow for pursuing.

Candidates who appeared for an examination are agitating that several questions are out of syllabus.

(I) A committee may be constituted to look into the matter.

(II) The examination may be cancelled.

(III) Re examination may be conducted if the committee recommends so.

Given Statement

Course of action 1 is true, because the committee may be constituted to look into the matter to analyze the question paper and given the report on the how much questions are in out of syllabus. 

Course of action 2 is false, because without analysis of paper the examination may not be cancelled.

Course of action 3 is false, because the after analysis of the paper by the committee. Either the committee may recommend to conduct re-exam or not. So, it is not definitely true.

Hence, "I" is the answer.
