Correct Answer - Option 2 : Habit of saving money and spending it wisely

Mathematics deals with data analysis, integration of various fields of knowledge, involves proofs, deductive and inductive reasoning, and generalizations.

  • The textbooks of mathematics are being published very early but the scope of mathematics is continuously expanding and becoming more lively.
  • The teacher should introduce new concepts according to the interest and abilities of students instead of focusing on the procedures mentioned in textbooks only.

Values Inculcated through mathematics: Values of Learning Mathematics are the outcomes or results achieved after teaching according to certain aims. They are the actual results of our teaching effort. They enable the students to acquire mathematical knowledge, skills, develop interests and attitudes. The various values are as follows:

  1. Practical or Utilitarian values
  2. Intellectual values
  3. Social values
  4. Moral values
  5. Disciplinary values
  6. Cultural values
  7. International values
  8. Aesthetic values
  9. Vocational values
  10. Psychological values

Prabal initially invested Rs.5000 for two years, after two years he withdrew only Rs.3500 which are required to buy study table and he again invested the remaining amount for next two year to avoid any financial stress in future which simply displays the habit of saving money and spending it wisely.

Thus it is clear that the habit of saving money and spending it wisely can be inculcated in students through this question.
