Correct Answer - Option 2 : three

Given:

Percentage of Expenditure on social services in the year 2012-13 = 12.94

Calculation:

According to the question,

Expenditure on social services in the year 2012-13 of 5% = (5/100) × 12.94 = 0.647

Now, according to the given table,

Clearly, we can see, information and broadcasting(0.22%), SC / ST / OBC Welfare(0.35%), labor and employment(0.27%)

Total = 3 activities.

∴ There are three activities in social services in which less than 5 percent of the total expenditure on social services in the year 2012-13.
