Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : 12.5%

Given:

Discount = Rs. 100

Marked price = Rs. 800

Formula Used:

Discount is always calculated on marked price (MP)

Discount% = (Discount/MP) × 100

Calculation:

Discount = Rs. 100, MP = Rs. 800

∴ Discount% = (100/800) × 100

⇒ Discount% = 12.5%

∴ Discount% is 12.5%
