Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs 40000

Calculation:

Let, Capital be 4R.

Investments as per question,

= 2R × 6% + 1R× 3% + 1R× 5%

 = 20R%

Income after 2 years = 4000

Income after 1 year = 2000

Now, 20R% ⇒ 2000

        100R% ⇒ 10000

So, Capital = 4 × 10000

                  =Rs 40000
