me = 9.11 × 10-31 kg, 

e = 1.6 × 10 C

Since the electron is accelerated from rest, the kinetic energy acquired by it is

The maximum value of the magnetic force on the electron is

Fm = evB

= (1.6 × 10-19 C) (5.496 × 106 m/s) (1.5 T)

= 1.319 × 10-12 N or 1.319 pN
