In Jharkhand, Koderma is the leading producer of Mica. It is located in the Hazaribagh belt of Jharkhand. Jharkhand is quite rich in minerals.
The Koderma district and the Lokai-Indarwa area cover the southern part of the Great Mica-Belt of Jharkhand and Bihar.
