Given:

Length of cuboid pit = 3m

Breadth of cuboidal pit = 8m

Height of cuboidal pit = 6m

Per m³ cost = Rs. 35.5

Formula Used:

The volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

Calculation: 

The volume of cuboid = The Volume of pit = Length × Breadth × Height

⇒ The Volume of pit = 3 × 8 × 6 = 144 m³

Cost of digginig per m³ = Rs. 35.5

⇒ Cost of diging for 144 m³ = 35.5 × 144 = Rs. 5112

∴ Cost of digging a pit is Rs. 5112.
