Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs. 5112

Given:

Length of cuboid pit = 3m

Breadth of cuboidal pit = 8m

Height of cuboidal pit = 6m

Per m3 cost = Rs. 35.5

Formula Used:

The volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

Calculation:

The volume of cuboid = The Volume of pit = Length × Breadth × Height

⇒ The Volume of pit = 3 × 8 × 6 = 144 m3

Cost of digginig per m3 = Rs. 35.5

⇒ Cost of diging for 144 m3 = 35.5 × 144 = Rs. 5112

∴ Cost of digging a pit is Rs. 5112.

The correct option is 1 i.e. Rs. 5112
