Average = Sum of observation/Number of observation 

Calculation

Let the weight of 3rd type of biscuit be x

⇒ according to the question 

⇒ (total weight of 1st 3 types of biscuits) + (total weight of last 3 types of biscuits) - x = sum of all types 

⇒ 60 × 3 + 68 × (3 - x) = 65 × 5 

⇒ x = 59 gm

∴ the weight of 3rd type of biscuits is 59 gm
