Correct Answer - Option 2 : Rs. 46

Given∶

 When he sell some product he find that there will be atleast 25/2 gain percent on the cost price.

Selling Price, S.P. = Rs. 414

Formula Used∶

Profit = S.P. - C.P.

C.P. = [100/(100 + Gain%)] × S.P.

Calculation∶

Find out the C.P. first, then

C.P. = [100/(100 + Gain%)] × S.P.

⇒ [100/(100 + 25/2)] × 414

⇒ (200/225) × 414

⇒ Rs. 368

S.P. = Rs 414

Here, S.P. > C.P., Then

Profit = S.P. - C.P. = 414 - 368 = Rs. 46

∴ Jagannath is having a profit of Rs. 46.
