Calculation

Number of males = 70% of 2000 = 1400

 Number of females = (2000 - 1400) = 600

Number of literates = 35% of 2000 = 700

Number of literate males = 30% of 1400 = 420

Number of literate females = (700 - 420) = 280

Required percentage = (280/600 × 100 ) % = 46.66%.

Hence, percentage = 46.66%
