Correct Answer - Option 1 : 5200

Given:

Anil got 52% of the total votes.

Sunil got 48% of the total votes.

Difference  between of their votes is 400

Concept used:

Using the concept of percentage.

Calculation:

Let total number of votes be 'x'.

Difference  between of their votes = 52% – 48% = 4%

4% of x = 400

⇒ x = (400 ×100)/4

⇒ x = 10000

So, Anil got the vote = 52% of 10000 = 5200

∴ Total number of votes got by Anil is 5200.
