Correct Answer - Option 3 : 21

Given:

We have to find the average of first 6 positive multiples of 6

Concept Used:

Average = Sum of observation / Number of observation

Calculation:

First 6 positive multiple of 6 are

6 × 1 = 6

6 × 2 = 12

6 × 3 = 18

6 × 4 = 24

6 × 5 = 30

and 6 × 6 = 36

Required average = (6 + 12 + 18 + 24 +30 + 36) / 6

⇒ 216/6

⇒ 21

∴ The required average is 21.
