Correct Answer - Option 5 : 25 : 37

Given:

The ratio of the total population visit in the club A, B and C is 10 : 12 : 9 respectively.

The percentage of males visit in the club A is 35%.

The percentage of males visit in the club B is 45%.

The percentage of males visit in the club C is 40%.

Concept Used:

The value = Percentage/100 × Total value

Calculation:

Let the total population visit in the club A be10x.

Let the total population visit in the club B be12x.

Let the total population visit in the club C be 9x.

The population of male visit in club A = 35/100 × 10x = 3.5x

The population of female in club A = 10x - 3.5x = 6.5x

The population of male visit in club A = 45/100 × 12x = 5.4x

The population of female in club A = 12x - 5.4x = 6.6x

The population of male visit in club A = 40/100 × 9x = 3.6x

The population of female in club A = 9x - 3.6x = 5.4x

The total population of male visit in all club = 3.5x + 5.4x + 3.6x = 12.5x

The total population of female visit in all club = 6.5x + 6.6x + 5.4x = 18.5x

The ratio of total population of male to the female visit in all club = 12.5x : 18.5x = 25 : 37

∴ The ratio of total population of males to the females visit in all club is 25 : 37.
