The correct answer is None of the above.

After the 2019 elections, the strength of Union Territories has increased to 26 members as 6 seats are representation from Jammu & Kashmir UT.

  • Lok Sabha:
    • Lok Sabha is the lower house of the parliament and is called the house of people.
    • Rajya Sabha is a permanent house and is not subject to dissolution while the Lok Sabha has a five-year term, and is subject to dissolution at the end of its term.
    • The Lower House can be dissolved earlier by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister. 
    • It can also be dissolved if the President feels that no feasible government can be formed after the resignation or fall of a regime.
    • The maximum strength of the House is 552 members, out of which 26 (the 2019 Indian general election in Jammu and Kashmir was held for 6 seats) members representing the Union Territories.
    • The Lok Sabha at present consists of 545 members i.e. 530 members are directly elected from the States and 13 from Union Territories, while the President of Indian nominates two members to represent the Anglo Indian Community.
