  • LPG stands for liquefied petroleum gas.
  • LPG is composed of hydrocarbons containing three or four carbon atoms. 
  • The normal components of LPG thus, are propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10). 
  • LPG is a hydrocarbon-based combustible gas. 
  • LPG is the generic name of the butane and propane gases and their mixtures in different proportions. 

  • Argon is a chemical element with the symbol Ar and atomic number 18. It is a noble gas. It is in group 18 of the periodic table.  
  • Methane gas is found in small quantities in Earth's atmosphere. Methane is the simplest hydrocarbon, consisting of one carbon atom and four hydrogen atoms.
