The correct answer is Aman.

  • West Bengal produces 15-16 million tonnes of paddy every year across the three seasons which are aus, aman and boro.

  • The Kharif paddy i.e aus and aman output accounts for about 70 per cent of the total production and Boro paddy is usually cultivated on land-dependent on the canal and the irrigation facility.
  • Aman is a  variety of rice sown in the rainy season and harvested during winter.
  • It is grown under rainfed lowland conditions in shallow, semi-deep, deep and flooded conditions.
