Correct Answer - Option 3 : 240000

When a digital image is displayed on the computer screen, its size is determined by three factors:

1) Screen's resolution setting

2) The screen's size

3) The number of pixels in the image.

A monitor may be specified as being a low-resolution 640 x 480, a medium resolution of 800 x 600, or a high-resolution of 1024 x 768 or more.

Note: The first number in the pair is the number of pixels across the screen. The second number is the number of rows of pixels down the screen.

∴ The total number of pixels in a display screen is a multiplication of the two numbers.

The given display is specified as 600 × 400.

∴ The total number of pixels across the display will be:

n = 600 × 400 = 240000
