Comprehension

Directions: The following are the five subjects for the annual examination. For each subject, the maximum marks are 100.

(1) English

(2) Physics

(3) Biology

(4) Hindi

(5) Mathematics

A student is declared 'pass' under the following different schemes. (A candidate may pass under more than one scheme also)

Scheme A: Secures a minimum of 45 marks in each subject

Scheme B: Secures minimum 50% marks in aggregate but fails in either Hindi or English.

Scheme C: Secures minimum 80 marks Physics and minimum 60 marks in Mathematics but fails in any one of the remaining subjects.

Scheme D: Secures a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate but fails in up to two subjects by a maximum of only 10 marks in each of the subjects.
