Correct Answer - Option 2 : ∮ B.dA = 0

The correct answer is option 2) i.e.  ∮B.dA = 0

CONCEPT:

  • Gauss Law: Gauss law states that the net magnetic flux through any closed surface is zero.
    • The number of magnetic field lines entering a surface equals the number of magnetic field lines going out of a closed surface.

It is represented by:

∮ B.dA = 0

Where B is the magnetic field, A is the area vector of the surface.

EXPLANATION:

From Gauss law of magnetism, ∮ B.dA = 0
