Correct Answer - Option 1 : A and C
The Correct answer is A and C.

FUSE-
  • A fuse is a device that is used to stop the excess flow of electric current through a circuit or an electric appliance.
  • It consists of a piece of wire made of an alloy of low melting point.
    • For example an alloy of Lead and Tin.
  • The fuse is placed in a series with the device.
  • If a current larger than a specified value flows through a circuit, the temperature of the fuse wire increases, and the fuse wire melts.
  • The fuse wire is usually enclosed in a cartridge of porcelain or similar insulating material.

Alloy-
  • The mixture formed by the combination of two or more metals or non-metals is known as Alloy.
  • This is a type of Homogeneous mixture.
  • Alloys cannot be separated by physical methods.
  1. Stainless steel is an alloy of Iron, Carbon, Chromium, and nickel.
  2. Brass - 30% zinc + 70% copper
  3. Bronze - Copper + Tin
  4. Duralumin - Aluminium + Copper +Mangnese + Magnesium
  5. Gun Metal - Copper + Tin + Zinc
  6. Magnelium - Magnesium + Aluminium
