Correct Answer - Option 1 : Both A and R are true and R is the correct explanation of A.

Option 1. Both A and R are true and R is the correct explanation of A.

The magnifying lens is a convex or a converging lens which has the property of  converging the incident light rays parellel to its axis  at a point called the focus. Reason and assertion both are true and Reason is an explanation of the assertion therefore, option 1 is correct.
