Given:

5 men each working 5 hours a day complete a half of the work in 8 days.

Formulas used:

(M₁ × D₁ × H₁)/W₁ = (M₂ × D₂ × H₂)/W₂

Where,

W → Number of man

D → Number of days 

H → Number of hours

W → Work

Calculation:

(M1 × D1 × H₁)/W1 = (M2 × D2 × H₂)/W2

⇒ 5 × 8 × 5/0.5 = 10 × D₂ × 4/1

⇒ 200/0.5 = 40 × D₂ 

⇒ 400 = 40 × D₂ 

⇒ D₂ = 400/40

⇒ D₂ = 10 days

∴ Complete work can be done by 10 men working 4 hours a day in 10 days.
