Concept:

  • The theorems like Thevenin, Norton, and Superposition theorems are applicable to only linear circuits but not Non-linear circuits.
  • Also, all the above theorems are applicable for both active and passive circuits.
  • Whereas KCL and KVL are independent of the type of elements hence they apply both for linear as well as non-linear circuits.
