Best answer

Given polynomial p(x) = 4x2 + 3x – 1

Given zeroes are 1/4 and -1

Let x = 1/4

Let x = -1

⇒ p(-1) = 4(-1)2 + 3(-1)-1 = 4 – 3 – 1 = 4 – 4 = 0

∴ P(1/4 ) = 0 and p(-1) = 0

So these values are zeroes of the polynomial p(x).
