Correct Answer - Option 5 : The data in both the statement I and II together are necessary to answer.

From statements I and II

According to the question,

⇒ 2 pencils + 1 pen = Rs. 150

⇒ 2 × 40 + 1 pen = Rs. 150

⇒ 80 + 1 pen = Rs. 150

⇒ Cost of 1 pen = Rs. (150 – 80) = Rs. 70

∴ The data in both the statement I and II together are necessary to answer.
